Existing manual processes present potential control risks due the re-keying of data into multiple systems and the use of spreadsheets to track trade details.
Processes that do not take place until T+1 compound the issue, as problems and exception workflows are not addressed at the earliest opportunity.
Implementing C3 will deliver automated, trade date oriented, matching and confirmations processes. Control will be improved by:
- Utilising C3's connectivity to eliminate re-keying of data from trade capture systems
- Providing automated matching and confirmations process to eliminate spreadsheet use
- Providing collaborative, structured workflows to manage exceptions in business real time
