Under existing operations, many processes are driven by month-end. Daily trade matching will smooth-out the resource profile by migrating month-end oriented tasks to daily. This will reduce the peak load placed on operations (See (1) in diagram below).
The number of man-hours required on a daily basis will also fall as a result of automated processes and workflow driven resolution. In addition, manual exceptions management will also be less resource intensive when trade knowledge is ‘fresh' (See (2) in diagram below).
